The SImple Woman's Daybook~ 2.9.09

FOR TODAY~ February 9, 2009...
Outside my window...the sun is up and the sky is a lovely blue. I am thinking...about the day ahead. I am thankful for...late night talks with my husband. From the learning rooms...Lil' Nut and I are settling into a routine. This week we'll make an abacus and continue working with patterns. From the kitchen...a cup of English breakfast tea and a bagel. I am wearing...a navy blue skirt and a white t-shirt. I am creating...a menu and shopping list. I am reading...in my Bible: Leviticus and John; just for fun: Mrs. C.H. Spurgeon by Charles Ray. I am hoping...to spend some time outdoors today. I am hearing...Lil' Nut carrying on a conversation with Toby. Around the house...all of the rooms need a quick tidy. One of my favorite things...moon gazing. A few plans for the rest of the week...grocery shopping, a trip to the library, piano lessons, a dentist appointment, Bookworm's district piano competition, and a birthday celebration. Here is picture thought I am sharing...

I'm reading in Leviticus, too! Very interesting reading, no? I'm enjoying it, though. It has made me see that God is such a particular, and yet merciful God.

I so enjoyed reading the biography of Mrs. Spurgeon when I read it. Did I tell you that I mailed some of those x-stitch books out to you on Friday? Well, if I didn't, I did!
