"I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord."
Psalm 104:33-34

Hopefully a month from now I'll be unpacking the boxes that are starting to surround me and setting up housekeeping in this pretty place.

Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Faith looks back upon the past and remembers that God has never once failed any of His children. It recollects times of great peril when deliverance came, hours of awful need when strength was received, and cries, "Always before, the Lord has helped me, and He will help me now." ~ Charles Spurgeon
Upon closer inspection, she was guarding a captive. I can't tell you how many times we've seen her sneaking around the last few weeks with a limp green tail hanging out of her mouth. At least it's not a mouse tail! :)

She's already working hard at loosening another one. ;)
Isaiah 26:3 KJV "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."Today Bookworm came into my room and handed me a piece of paper torn from a spiral notebook. A sketching of a rose filled the bottom half of the page. At the top of the page in scrolled letters she had written, "A Mother's Day Prayer". Me: "Don't you want to hang on to this and give it to me Sunday on Mother's Day?" Bookworm: "No, Mom. I think you need it today." And I did! Just when I needed a hug from the Lord, He gave me one through the words of my precious ten-year-old. Here's the poem Bookworm wrote for me.
My wonderful hubby is out of town. I really miss him! While he's away I'm letting the children plan supper each evening. We all agreed that this would be a great time to make some recipes that Mr. C doesn't care for but the rest of us enjoy.
