Go Figure

Ya'll know that after waiting all of my life, I finally saw snow a couple of weeks ago. Well, would you believe what arrived at our house today? Yep. SNOW!!! About an inch accumulated before we headed to church tonight. It sure was fun while it lasted!

This, my friends, is what memories are made of.

Bookworm is ready as the first flakes begin to fall.

Daddy had a blast playing with the kids.

Curly Girl was all smiles.

Our Schoolhouse

Lil' Nut was so proud of our little snowman.

Bookworm made snowballs from the snow on the truck.

Brother and Sister share the love.

How fun! I remember when it snowed very briefly when I was a teenager (where we were it was rare). It was so fun and exciting.

We are anxiously waiting to see if we get any snow today. They are *predicting* up to 8 inches, but you never know!

I know! How cool to get some snow finally!
Your family looks like they completely enjoyed it!
I love the pictures, but especially the little schoolhouse in the "big" woods. :o)
We got about an inch here, too. Now we're just getting the typical sleet/freezing rain. Hope we can keep our power.

That is so cute. My son made a snowman just like yours when my mom brought snow in a cooler to our house one year.

I love all the great pictures. That will be a fun page to scrapbook!!!

Oh what fun! My two have been desperate for it to snow, but we have only had a brief flurry all winter.

Your children look like they are having so much fun! Yeah for you! (would you like some of ours from here in NYS?! :) ) actually our 8 inches melted last week during the strange thaw but tonite it is supposed to start up again. 2-4 inches are predicted...we shall see. Maybe there will be a school delay! Enjoy yours!

I'm so glad you guys had a great time enjoying the snow! It is truly a special treat when you don't see it often:)

We see it all the time here in Michigan, but the first snowfall of each winter is still special to me.

Take Care,

Trixie
