Menu Plan Monday~ 3/19/07

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! :)

I planned this week's menus with very simple meals that my nine year old can prepare because I'm still having a lot of rib pain. :( I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for some heavy-duty pain meds and (hopefully) some relief!

Sunday~ roast sirloin; fried okra; squash casserole; rice; cake brownies

Monday~ leftovers

Tuesday~ hot dogs; fries; fruit salad

Wednesday~ tacos

Thursday~ meat loaf; mashed potatoes; sauted squash & onions; black-eyed peas; salad

Friday~ pizza; salad

Thanks to Laura for hosting Menu Plan Monday.

Oh, I love fried okra. I grew up with my gramma making it all the time. Mmmm!
I'd love to know how you make your squash casserole.

Praying for you ~

Fried okra is one of our favorites around here, too.

Mrs. C, I hope your doctors appointment went well today and you got some good medicine. How wonderful that your 9 year old is a big help in the kitchen! Your menu looks yummy!

Also, thank you for the help with the laundry lessons. I'm off to look for your chart!

Kelli

I hope your feeling better! The cake brownies sound fantastic! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
