What I've Been Up To

~We had a wonderful, soul-stirring Bible conference at church.
~Went to a spring training game with my hubby and watched my favorite team win. "Let's go, Red Sox!" ~Spent a Saturday with my mom and three of the kids at a local art/antiques fair. ~I've been trying to spend more time in the kitchen. We don't eat much pork, but I found a roast on sale (don't get me started on the price of meat!). It was yummy! ~Spotted this pretty cake in the window of a bakery and thought it would be fun to take a cake decorating class. Decided that an eighth day of the week would have to be created first. ~I turned 29 last week...again...for the sixth time. Let me do the math for you--I'm 35. :)

Sounds like life is full and busy for you right now. Happy Birthday! I'd hate to add up my 29th birthdays. It's definitely more than the 6th time! ;)

Happy birthday! I've wanted to take a cake decorating class too! Maybe when the kids are grown? lol!

Wow...love that pic of the cake! A friend of mine is taking a cake class and wanted me to join, but like you I said...um...well I'd need an extra day of the week! lol....your life is full right now....(my hubby will drool in jealousy at your seeing the red sox....our fave team of course :)...he said he wishes he could go to FL to see them in training....) and Happy B-day! I am 29 + 10+10+2 :)

oh yum - that pork roast looks delish!!! I do miss pork roast, now that we don't eat much meat.

that cake was really pretty! I'll get right on the eighth day thing...surely my engineer friends can come up with SOMETHING! ;)
