It's finally starting to feel like fall in Central Florida; low 80's during the day and low 60's at night. We slept with the widows open last night. That hasn't happened since probably March. My electric bill is ready for some relief.
After a week full of meetings with our school's accreditation organization, I was ready to take the day off and relax. Yes, the principal played hooky. I washed six loads of laundry today. So much for relaxing! I really did enjoy tidying up the house and getting the laundry room cleaned out. There's just something about puttering around the house on a crisp autumn day that puts a smile on a girl's face
I also spent some time outside watching Toby run around the yard. We went down to the pond and explored a little bit. Days like today remind me of the importance of slowing down and taking the time to enjoy the simple things in life.
