The Simple Woman's Daybook~ 12.7.09

It's been quite a while since I've participate in Peggy's Daybook; however, I thought I'd try it again in an effort to get back to posting more regularly. :)
FOR TODAY~ December 7, 2009...
Outside my window...it's still dark out. I am thinking...that today is going to be a very full day. I am thankful for...a husband who loves me in spite of my shortcomings. From the learning rooms...the kids are counting down the days until Christmas break. From the kitchen...I haven't planned out this week's menu yet, but at least the kitchen is clean! I am wearing...comfy pajamas. I am creating...a new organizer box for all my coupons. I have misplaced the one I made a few months back...perhaps it stayed in the shopping cart when I left the store. I am reading...in my Bible: Ezekiel; just for fun: The Secret by Beverly Lewis. I am hoping...that I get everything on my to-do list accomplished today. I am hearing...Christmas music on my iPod. Around the house...the Christmas decorations are up (whoo-hoo!). I'm starting the week with a clean house; let's hope the kids and I will keep it that way. One of my favorite things...gazing at the Christmas tree. I'm now to that point in life when there are a lot of ornaments on the tree with special memories tied to them. A few plans for the rest of the week...attend the school Christmas program, piano lessons for Bookworm, a basketball game for Mickey, and I really need to get our Christmas card photo printed and mailed. Here is picture thought I am sharing...
My new phone; hopefully it will help me stay on top of that long to-do list. And, it's PINK! :)

I'm so glad to "see" you Mrs C! Don't you just love "comfy" pj's? They are one of life's most simple pleasures, I think. To make it even better you have to have a hot cup of cocoa in your hand! Love your new phone. I'm not really into tech stuff, but I know something pretty in pink when I see it;)

I'm so glad to see your morning.

I bet this will be a fun Christmas for you as the principal of your school. Those families undoubtedly will treat you well and show you lots of love.

I love this! I love lists and answering questions that take me out of my own thoughts, which I definitely need a rest from! I've always loved just staring at a Christmas tree with sparkling lights, too!

Merry Christmas!
