My little man is not a morning person. He takes after his daddy. ;) This morning during breakfast I was making small talk with him in an attempt to arouse his cheerful side.
Me: Sweetie, remember to be nice to all of the kids in your class today. Jesus wants us to be kind to everyone. Mickey: It's hard to be nice to girls, though, 'cause they're not your species. They're just different than us boys. I could not keep from cracking up over that one!

I love it!!!! Something tells me he will change his attitude on this in a few years;o) On second thought, Mr. P still thinks I'm from a different species, too! Once a adorable young lady catches his eye he will become the most "gentlemanly" of men, I'm sure:o) BTW, I'm pretty sure "gentlemanly" isn't a word, it just seemed to fit!

I just read where y'all aren't homeschooling any longer. I was sad to hear it, but I can understand the decision. Especially since your hubby works at a church WITH a Christian school.

It's great their dad can have lunch with them. I'm sure they're going to do great.
