Free Pizza, Anyone?


My friend Jodi reminded me that it is time to sign up for Pizza Hut's Book It! reading program for the 2008-2009 school year.

The school I used to teach at participated in this great program, and our family has enjoyed it as well since it is also open to homeschoolers. My kids love books (I wonder where they get it from?), and the offer of a free pizza inspires them to log their pages.

Aww, I remember doing this when I was in school! Too bad Caleb isn't quite old enough for me to sign him up!

We used to do this every homeschool year. And as a school teacher I did it for my class. So much fun and motivation!!!

You mean Pizza Hut still have the Book It club? I remember being involved in that when I was in elementary school.

I just wish we didn't have to eat Gluten-Free now. :-(

Oh yes...my oldest daughter (from grades 1-6) did this each spring...so motivating...my youngest has done it for grades 1-2 but for some reason this year (grade 3) they aren't doing it...I may just do it with her my self...she loves Pizza Hut pizza! Thanks for the reminder of this fun program.
