A Masterpiece

This was the view from our front porch last night just a few minutes before the eclipse was complete. Bookworm was the only kiddo who could keep herself awake long enough to enjoy it with me. Did you get to see the eclipse?

I did!!! What was *so* neat was I was going to a friends house, and hubby was at home with the kids. When I arrived at my friends I saw it was *very* cloudy out. I asked the Lord to please clear the clouds so I could see the eclipse.

When I was inside with my friends I fogot all about the eclipse, but then their daughter called and told them that it was going on.

So we all went outside. The night was clear, except there were a few clouds here and there.

I called my husband and asked him to go out and watch. He said he knew that it was happening, but he could hardly see anything because it was very cloudly over at our house. Our house is about 10 minutes away!

I believe the Lord cleared the clouds *just* for me. :)

Great picture there too. It looks pretty close to the one below this post. :)

We saw it too (waaaayyy up here in Canada! LOL!). The kids went to bed normal time, but I got them up around 10:30-10:45 so they could watch. It was really cloudy, but then the sky cleared and we could everything! My youngest really wanted to watch because he said he would be 13, the next time this happened~ Who could argue with that! I didn't get to take any pictures though ~ the batteries were dead in my camera.

Have a blessed day!

We were fortunate on the West Coast to have the eclipse in the early evening. We live on the corner of a very busy street but our side street is relatively quiet. At first we had to stand in the middle of the side street to see the beginnings of the eclipse. One by one our neighbors to the side joined us in the street to enjoy the fantastic event. Not long after that we could just step out our front door and watch it up over the house. I tried to take pictures but it wasn't too successful. ~Adrienne~

That is an amazing picture you took, Mrs. C! Mr. P, Miss Bonnie and I were all huddled up in blankets as we watched God's beautiful "show!"

Here in NY we had beautiful clear skies, very cold! we saw it from my oldest daughter's bedroom window with all the lights off. The constellations and the moon were just amazing! Unfortunately my 9 year old was already asleep!

Yes, we saw it too. :) We've always enjoyed watching God's beautiful creation.
Just as the eclipse was at it's peak, a bunch of coyotes started howling and screaming and my daughter said, "Okay, I've seen enough, let's go in!"

How beautiful!
We've been so out of sorts lately that I didn't know there was an eclipse until after the fact. How wonderful y'all got to share it together.

Thank you, by the way, for your prayers recently and for wishing Ally a happy birthday.
Enjoy your weekend and have a blessed Lord's Day.

Oh, what a beautiful picture!

I got to see it too! but it turned black here, not red. Then it got cloudy right when it was going into full eclipse so I didn't get to see it again until it was almost totally out of it again. But at least I got to see it! That is the very first eclipse I've ever seen! So neat. But I don't think my pictures turned out...I haven't looked at them yet.

God bless!
