My new best friends

Yesterday I brewed a cup of tea every hour and added 1/4 teaspoon of vitamin C crystals and a dropper of echinacea & goldenseal. I started feeling better almost immediately. Our local grocery store just started carrying this honey vanilla chamomile tea, and it is delicious.

I'm going to try this prescription again the next time I start to feel under the weather. It's an inexpensive alternative to a trip to the doctor's office. :)

What a good idea. I definitely need to share this information with my daughter Kina.

Thanks for the tip! We have always used echinacea, but never in a tea with the vitamin C crystals. It sounds yummy as well as healing.

I do hope you are feeling better today--and that Curly Girl is healing from her cut over her eye.

Blessings! : )

We do Vitamin C Crystals and echinacea too. I'll have too look for the tea. We've been fighting the cold. Hubby and I haven't gotten it.....yet. ;}

Told you the Vitimine C every hour would work. ;) Of course I am sure the other stuff helped out some too. :)

Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Sounds like a good way to keep a mommy going.

I added the recipe for the pumpkin bread to the original post about it.

Have a great day!

So much cozier, too, than dragging oneself off to the cold, sterile doctor's office! Glad you're feeling better.

Oh my goodness! What a wonderful concoction you've shared. I would do anything to not get sick because I don't make a very pretty sick lady :)

I will definitely keep these items on hand at the first sign of a symptom. In fact I might just have to take it so that I don't get a symptom at all.

Thank you so much :)
