What happens when your little grocery unloader accidentally leaves a roast in the car in 100 degree heat and it's not discovered for several hours?

I guess all those coupons I used at the store made up for the money in the trashcan. I think that I need to start double-checking the trunk when my helpers are through emptying it. :)

Oops! We have done that, too.
We empty the van together now. But it is such a blessing to have helpers. ;o)

Oops... I've done that before! Question... How does the car smell?

Ouch! That hurts the pocket book. How 'bout some grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup? That is our go to dinner when things don't work out the way we had planned.

I was just reading everyone's comments about doing the same thing! LOL! I've done it, (to my mom, I was the "helper") it was a pound of sausage, and we didn't find it for a week. In the trunk. ewwwwww.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who's made this mistake.:)

Tina,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I hope you come back soon!

Christina,
Thankfully, we discovered the meat after just a couple of hours, so the 'Burban didn't reek. I just never want to take a chance with bad meat!

Blessings,
Mrs. C

I've done this, as well; my hubby-helper has also done this (with cheese, so a little easier on the wallet). Once I did this with my parents... only it was milk. We couldn't figure out why the van reeked until about a week or so later! Ugh! :S

Oh, poor little helper. I'm sure they felt very sad about that. We've had some experience in this concerning milk. Peewww! when it was discovered.

LOL

Oops! I left milk in the car. Lucky for me I bought it at night. It was the beginning of Spring, so it was not cold enough to freeze and not warm enough to spoil. I could not believe it when hubby walked in with that gallon of milk!

I can't tell you how many times this has happened! At least you found it the same day that you bought it! It could have been worse too....it could have been ice cream! Yuck-O!

Ooops! At least you discovered it before the bad smell hit.

LOL ~ Little helpers grow up and become big helpers. Big helpers have fewer mishaps ... however, there's just no cure for this Momma and her mishaps!! I don't even get to use the excuse of being little! ;op
