Since Mother's Day is just a couple of days away, I thought I'd share my all-time favorite Mother's Day gift for Show and Tell.
This ring was given to me 7 years ago for Mother's Day. I remember busily getting myself and two little ones (ages 2 and 4 months at the time) ready for church that Sunday morning when Mr. C handed me a gift bag with a little box inside of it. I was shocked when I opened the box and saw a beautiful diamond ring. I don't remember the ride to church that morning; I think I floated there on a cloud! :)
Please don't think that I always receive such extravagant gifts on Mother's Day; I don't! Usually I get something small and nice (like a Yankee candle) and lots of homemade cards from the kids. Now that they're getting older, I can look forward to them making breakfast for me, too. The gifts that mean the very most are the smiles, hugs, and kisses that my children bless me with every day of the year.Labels: Favorite Things, Show n Tell, Special Days
