Tasty Turkey Chili

Turkey Chili
2 Tbs. oil
1/3 C. diced onions
1/3 C. diced peppers
1/3 C. diced celery
1 Tbs. garlic
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey
1 (16 oz.) can chili beans~ undrained
1 (10 oz.) can diced tomatos and green chilies~ undrained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
chili pepper to taste

Saute the vegetables in oil until well browned. Add the turkey and cook until browned. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer about 15 minutes.

You could also put everything in the crock pot after you brown the turkey and let everything simmer on LOW for a couple of hours. I also shredded some sharp cheddar cheese to top the chili with. Very yummy and easy, too!

Your Turkey Chili recipe is very similiar to mine. Do you use red peppers?

Rona,
I use red and/or green peppers; it just depends upon what I've got on hand. :)
