I've enjoyed a leisurely afternoon pampering myself in preparation for tonight's Valentine Banquet. I enjoyed a relaxing bubble bath with my favorite scent from Bath and Body Works, Japanese Cherry Blossom...

and gave myself a pedicure with my favorite shade of polish from OPI called I'm Really Not A Waitress.
Now I'm all dressed up and ready to go! This year we reserved a restaurant in town for our banquet instead of using the fellowship hall at the church building, so I didn't have to spend the day decorating! I have to admit that I'm looking forward to an evening out with other grownups and no children. One of the teenagers from church is going to watch them for us. This will only be the second time in a year and a half that we've left them with a sitter. Now if the rain would just let up; at least I won't be the only lady at the banquet having a bad hair day!

I hope you enjoy your evening out for the banquet! Now if the rain would just let up. It's raining buckets here!
I love that shade of red. I don't look very good with red lipstick or fingernails, but I love to paint my toenails red. LOL

We've had gobs of rain here too. I love the name of the nail polish and I hope you had a wonderful time at your banquet...without the kids! :)

I hope the rain let up and you had a great time at the banquet. We spent all day (literally) Tuesday at the car dealership getting (what my hubby calls my Valentine's Day gift a day early) our new car. Today (Valentine's Day) is filled with girls doing schoolwork and hubby not feeling well (sniff-sniff). But...hey....it snowed today!!! Yippee!! Okay...it was only light (very light) flurries...but at least it snowed!! :)

Oooh, that's one of my favorite polish colors, too! :~) I'm sure you looked great regardless of the weather!

Thank you, Ladies! The rain did let up, and we had a wonderful evening. :)

Sis. Julie,
Congrats on the new car! That's a step up from flowers for sure! Hope your DH feels better soon. :)

Hi there! I found your blog and sure enjoyed reading some of your posts. I am commenting on this one because I have the same B&BW scent and I *love* OPI nail polish. : )
