We had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating Curly Girl's 5th birthday. We ate lunch at one of her favorite restaurants and spent a couple of hours playing at Chuck E. Cheese's. The kids had so much fun! Mr. C's parents arrived last night just in time for birthday cake and ice cream. Curly Girl requested chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles (hmm, she must be my daughter). She also wanted some "berniller" ice cream (vanilla). Her favorite gift was a Polly Pocket set. You can imagine my chagrin when I read this morning that 2.4 million sets are being recalled due to choking hazards; thankfully the set she received was not part of the recall, but I still have that uneasy feeling. Our house will be full of company the rest of the week, but we'll be enjoying every minute of it. I made my last grocery store run today and will start meal preparations tomorrow. I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving with those you love. I'm off the computer until next week! (gasp) http://riverbendramblings.blogspot.com
