Wal-Mart is at it again!

I can't even describe how disturbed I felt when I received this latest update detaileing Wal-Mart's outrageous support of the homosexual agenda by contributing 5% of online sales to a Gay/Lesbian Center in Washington, DC. Unbelievable! You can see the Center's donation page with Wal-Mart's link here. The American Family Association is asking 1 million families to pledge not to shop at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, which are two of the biggest shopping days of the year. I continued shopping at Wal-Mart even after their recent slap-in-the-face to conservative families when they joined the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, but now I am really fired up! I shop at Wal-Mart because it is budget-friendly; however, I am feeling quite fed up with this company! I'm going to pray about whether or not to continue spending money there, and I'm going to seek my husband's opinion as well. I realize that there are countless companies and organizations that support the homosexual agenda--many more companies that we purchase products from than we realize-- but I think that we Christians are accountable for how we respond when we are aware of the problem. Wal-Mart has trashed its All-American image by its blatent support of immoral groups. Very sad indeed! :o( http://riverbendramblings.blogspot.com

I saw this terrible article. I also heard they were going to say "Merry Christmas" this year as opposed to last year. No doubt to draw in the holiday shoppers they have lost because of their stand they have taken with the gay and lesbian.

I saw this on another blog. It's really too bad! Wal-mart always portrayed themselves as having family values, etc. My husband and I haven't shopped at Wal-mart for quite a while, because of this issue.

I was talking with Bro. Tim and my hubby about this whole thing this evening. It was mentioned by my BIL that everyone probably support the gays and other things that Christians are against...but like I told him....that may be true but for a company to come out and boastfully claim they do and then not only support them verbally and to boast about giving 5% of their online sales from Sams and Walmart to those causes!! Ugh!!! It infuriates me!! Then I heard they are going to bring "Christmas" back into their stores. I think they probably realize that they lost alot of consumers over the gay thing and now they are trying to bring them back by telling us they will support Christmas instead of the Happy Holidays or Season's Greetings. I don't care what they do....God has dealt with me about this business and God has shown me how I can get my products elsewhere and even save money too.

I wanted to let you know that AFA has canceled their boycott of WM. It looks like the petition worked, and WM is backing off supporting the g@ys.
