Friday's Favorites~ The Little Girls' Bedroom

This bedroom is shared by Curly Girl and Lil Nut. It is one of my favorite rooms in the house. The wall colors don't show up very well in these pictures, but you can still get the idea of the sponged stripes below the molding. The previous homeowner used this room as a den and had it filled with hunting trophies (of the stuffed and mounted variety). We thought that the deer painting on the faux window was quite unique, so we didn't paint over it. I really like this room for the little girls because it is very large. There are also two small dressers in the room, but there is still plenty of space for the girls to play. It helped a lot when we took the crib out of the room and Lil Nut was promoted to the bunk bed. There is a walk-in closet that's pretty narrow, so there's not much storage space in it. I store their toys and books in clear plastic boxes on a small bookshelf. Posted by Picasa http://riverbendramblings.blogspot.com

Your girls' room is SO neat and tidy! When my children were small, I could never get their rooms neat and keep them neat. Now, my daughter keeps her room very neat, but my boys . . . that's another story! Thanks for the look at your girls' room!

I love the look of this room!!! I especially love the faux window with the painting of the deer and also the sponged stipes on the bottom part of the wall. Both are very creative ideas.

Thank you, ladies, for the compliments; however, I must tell you that this room is RARELY ever this tidy! Usually you will find toys, stray shoes, and dress up clothes scattered around the room.

I think we were expecting company when these pictures were taken. ((smiles))

Blessings,
Mrs. C
