The Book Basket

As far back as I can remember I have been a book-lover. I know know there are many of you out there who are guilty of staying up way too late at night (or early morning) to finish a good book. Here are a few of the titles I've finished recently: Stepping Heavenward by Elizabeth Prentiss (I saw this listed as a favorite by so many bloggers that I just had to read it.) Persuasion by Jane Austen Mansfield Park by Jane Austen The Brethren by Beverly Lewis (The final book in the Annie's People series~~a sweet ending!) Found by Karen Kingsbury (Family has been released, and it's on my list to get.) The Ministry of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson Moses and Paul by C.S. Stam I'm in the middle of several more books right now, which I'll post about soon. What books have you been reading? http://riverbendramblings.blogspot.com

*Ahem* Just how did you know I stay up till all hours of the night and morning to finish good books???? *Grin* My husband bought The Brethren for me on Monday night, and would you believe, I read the whole thing front to back in one sitting? It is a good book! I just love Beverly Lewis' writing.

I just started 'The Marketing of Evi'.

And I thought Stepping Heavenward was wonderful!

You really need to check out Keepers books Mrs.C! My most favourite books come from there.

I also just bought a Beverly Lewis book but can't remember the title. Awhile back I finished her series (which I can't remember the name of--I must be losing my mind!) which included sisters named Leah and Sadie.

I love to read but have found since I started blogging that I don't read as much as I used to because I read so many blogs!

Hi Mrs C - I have read the Jane Austen books, but I am not familiar with the others. I am currently reading the Left Behind series of books and am up to Soul Harvest. I love books.
