I didn't believe it at first, but after some research, found that it's true. What to do now? I read that there are other major companies (such as IBM, American Airlines, Avis, Wells Fargo, Motorola, to name a few) that are members of the same organization that WM has joined. If we boycott one, we have to boycott them all, to be consistent. How much can we boycott and still be able to buy what we need?

I do most of my shopping at Wal-Mart, too. Guess I'll have to go elsewhere.

That really doesn't suprise me about Wal-Mart.

On a side note Wal-Mart has disappointed me in the quality of some of their products. I bought a DVD player from there that didn't even last a year. A front porch light that didn't last a year. The second one lasted a month and when my husband took it down the wires were melted inside, it had almost caught on fire. The clothes I've gotten there either shrink up or fall apart rather quickly.

I read about this the other day in my email. How sad!! Is there nowhere we can shop these days that does not support some wicked organization or cause? I don't think there is. How sad!!

Well, I'm not sure what Meijer supports, but I frequent Meijer way more than I do Wal-mart. I buy almost all my groceries from Meijer and only go to Wal-mart if absolutely necessary. It's really sad.
