Wednesday's challenge was to wipe down the walls and clean the windows in the dining room. Before washing the baseboards I brushed them off with a small broom to remove the doggy hair and dust that seems to accumulate so quickly. I moved the baker's rack away from the wall so that I could really dust behind it. This is the first home I have ever lived in that has double-hung windows, so I was able to clean the outside part of the windows from the inside--how nice! In Florida we had Miami windows, which were just one step up from jalousie windows, and they were near impossible to clean! Today's task took about 30 minutes.
I'll post some pictures from the dining room at the end of the week.
