The 4th

Our family enjoyed the day with some friends in north Georgia. We loaded up the kids and made the 2 hour drive up into the mountains. My 6yo asked if there was any snow on top of the mountains, and I told him, "not today." It was close to 90 degrees LOL! We had a nice BBQ picnic with our friends. We headed for home late in the afternoon. Our community had its fireworks celebration on Monday night at the Ritz~Carlton. We parked our car and walked about 2 miles to see the fireworks. Our sweet little ones did not even complain about the long walk! I got quite a workout pushing the stroller. It was worth it, though, to see the children enjoy the loud, colorful display. http://riverbendramblings.blogspot.com

We got rained on when we went to see our fireworks display. But it was still a nice finish to a wonderful day.
