Thankful Thoughts

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. ~Psalm 31:24 KJV
I am gaining strength each day, praise the Lord! The pain has lessened, and the healing has begun. I have been a good little girl and have been taking it easy. Many helpers have been making that possible. :) The quietness around the house has allowed me time for reflection in the midst of resting. Instead of asking, "Why me again, Lord?" I'm just thanking Him. ~~For prompt attention from the hospital staff. ~~For my favorite doctor, who just happened to be on call and was at the hospital went I arrived. He knows my medical history well and assisted in my previous surgery. I felt such peace as soon as he walked in my hospital room. ~~For medical technology that allows a surgeon to do so much. ~~For the prayers lifted on my behalf by so many. ~~For phone calls, emails, and cards of encouragement. ~~For meals provided by church families. ~~For my mother who gladly takes care of laundry, cooking, and grandchildren. ~~For a friend who came and cleaned my house today. ~~For my loving husband who is such a rock and someone I can depend on in the good times and the bad times. I cannot imagine what I would do without him! ~~For my Saviour who holds me in the palm of His hand.

It's good to read all the things you're thankful for, and to see how the Lord blessed even in the midst of your medical emergency. I pray that you continue to recover quickly!

Being thankful in the middle of the trial is a good thing to do! I'm so glad to read your list of gratefulness. Praying that healing will continue. Keep resting and let others minister to you. ~Adrienne~

Glad to hear that you are healing and that the Lord is using others to *minister* to you and your family...and for all the ways that God has blessed you through this ordeal...there are NO COINCIDENCES....

My goodness Mrs C .. I miss so much when I don't come over for for a bit. I am so sorry for your trouble, and so glad things are going to be fine.

Please take care of yourself and rest up. I wish I was close enough to bring your kids and their bikes over today. They could enjoy the Greenway Trail and have lunch with me while you have a good long nap. But I know you have some dear close friends who are helping you out.

Take care!

Isn't God good. I have recently being going through some health issues and I have walked closer to God than I have done in awhile.
God knows what we need and is in control of all things.
